WSA Presents: Almost Maine, November 30 and December 1 and 2The West Sound Academy Drama Program and Thespian Troupe is proud to present John Cariani’s heartfelt play Almost, Maine on Friday, November 30th and Saturday, December 1st. and Sunday, December 2nd. Curtain is at 7:00 PM on Friday and Saturday with the matinee curtain time on Sunday at 2:00 PM. The play will be performed at the WSA Commons Black Box Theatre in the lower level of Baker Hall on West Sound Academy’s campus in Poulsbo.

As the playwright suggests - Welcome to Almost, Maine, a place that’s so far north, it's almost not in the United States. It’s almost in Canada. And it’s not quite a town, because its residents never got around to getting organized. So it almost doesn’t exist. One cold, clear winter night, as the northern lights hover in the star filled sky above, the residents of Almost, Maine, find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and hilarious ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. But the bruises heal, and the hearts mend – almost – in this delightful midwinter night’s dream. There will be laughter, and there may also be tears, but there will most definitely be love.

The cast is made up of an ensemble of students and they include Andy Nguyen ’19, Joe Zhou ’19, Phillips Cox ’20, Annika Obsequio ’21, Micah Adams ‘21, Remy Furchtenicht ‘21 and Esther Gleeman ‘22.
