West Sound Academy’s Technology Access Center (TAC) opened in Fall, 2015, and provides learning opportunities in the fields of robotics, programming, 3-D design and graphic design.  This curriculum supports the Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM) initiative that WSA launched in 2013. The overall objectives of the Technology Access Center are to practice problem-solving, teamwork, making and programming. At work in the Upper School Maker LabWest Sound Academy is an official testing center for the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), offered by the Educational Testing Service.  

The TOEFL is a required test for all international students applying to university in the United States.  WSA's Technology Access Center is used for administration of the TOEFL.  

Academic courses and electives are offered to WSA students during the school day but educational opportunities will be available after school as well - either through WSA faculty and staff or through the City of Poulsbo's Parks and Recreation department.
