Founded in 1998, West Sound Academy is located in a beautiful setting overlooking Liberty Bay in Poulsbo, Washington. Our campus is composed of twenty rural acres with five buildings, a soccer field, outdoor amphitheater and an outdoor sport court. The buildings provide eight floors of teaching, performance, and administrative space. Frodel Hall includes an art gallery that regularly hosts professional shows. Parke Hall and Ryan Hall contain model science teaching laboratories. Baker Hall includes a computer lab, library, commons and administrative offices.

From our classrooms, we view the Olympic Mountains in their seasonal majesty.  It is quiet here; we enjoy the presence of wildlife - especially our resident bald eagle. We have room for our students to be with nature unfettered by cars and traffic. A running and biking trail, a soccer field, and our own gardens encourage outdoor activities. Daily life at West Sound is secluded and peaceful, allowing our students to focus on their studies, to create, and to explore ideas.
