Barrie is honored to be West Sound Academy’s fourth Head of School. In her letter to the West Sound community accepting the appointment to the position, she wrote “taking on the role of Head of School is a new challenge that I embrace fully with energy and enthusiasm…. I am thoroughly committed to the current vision of the school and the International Baccalaureate program. I believe the students of this school will graduate having become life-long learners prepared for the increasingly interdependent world of the 21st century. I am highly excited to lead them to that goal.”
