West Sound Academy, located on the Kitsap Peninsula in Poulsbo,
Washington, is the only independent middle and high school in the
west Puget Sound region.
Through a challenging academic program, small class size, intensive
arts experiences and community service projects, West Sound Academy
teaches students to be an active force in their education, in their
community, and in their world.
Our curriculum is integrated, so students may perceive the relationships
between many disciplines. It is experiential, so that their classroom
lessons come alive. And it is textured with the arts so that they
come to value human expression.
