Gain step-by-step approaches to creating interesting, well-designed, hands-on projects to complement, demonstrate and exhibit the things your students are learning.
5 Clock Hours available.
Visuals such as posters are often awkward, incomplete or difficult to understand. From a one-day project to a long term independent project, learning to create well designed PowerPoint images, posters, brochures, display boards, and even 3-D interactive display units can be useful for debriefing a learning unit, learning from a different angle and involving non-traditional learners. Many faculty feel they are in unfamiliar territory when it comes to creating intriguing displays, or feel that it is a time-waster. This class will give you tools, approaches and a whole new view of visual communication . . . . and it’s fun.
Best for 5th – 12th grade teachers. A short supply list will be sent upon registration.
Instructor: Leigh Metteer, WSA faculty
Tuition: $65
