Introduction to Salsa Dancing

What happens when you put Rumba, Tumba, Macumba, Son, Guaracha, Cha Cha, Mambo (plus a few others) into a cultural blender, add a little Swing and a bit of time? You get Salsa! Come explore the rich afro-latin heritage of Salsa dancing. Students will learn basic movement structures to put with the complex rhythms that make Salsa hot. Open to ages 16 to adult or by permission of instructor.
